GOVERNMENT WHIP COLLAPSES. Received July 9, 10.30 p.m. Reuter. LONDON, July 9. The close of an all-night sitting of the House of Commons, extending to six in the morning, in order to complete the committee stage of the Finance Bill, was marked by the sensational collapse of Mr Kennedy, one of the Government whips, while the House was dividing. He was removed to hospital and is still unconscious.
