Mr H. A. Beauchamp, manager for I New Zealand of Kodak (Australasia) Pty., Ltd., who has been on a visit to Wanganui, leaves for Wellington to-day. Mr Jas. A. Robertson, of Levin, is < \ isiting Wanganui after an absence of thirty-four years. Mr Robertson was at one time a member of the “Chronicle’’ staff. He has pleasant memories of his association with the citizens of those days, and was yesterday delighted to t renew acquaintance with several old friends. At last night’s meeting of 1h»Wanganui Horticultural Society feeling reference was made by the chair man (Mr. H. J. Duigan), To the death of two members. Messrs A. L. Sarney and W. Parnell. He staled that in these gentlemen the society had lost two good friends and workers.
