ON THE MINIATURE RANGES “CHRONICLE” CLUB. The “Chronicle” Miniature Rifle Club fired two postal matches in the Shield competition on the Defence range last evening, when the following scores were recorded: — FIRST SHOOT. J. Lowe 68 F. HERALD CLUB. The Herald Miniature Rifle Club fired a postal match in the Shield competition < n the Defence range last evening, when tic following scores were recorded: — It. Barker 66 S. Hall 66 P. ’Spurdie 65 V. Smith 64 C. He gg .. 55 Total . 316 Mr 1.. Comrie acted as umpire. HIGH SCORING AT BISLEY LONDON, July 7. The Bislcy Rifle Meeting opened in a high wind, threatening rain, and a bad light. There was high scoring in the early stages, despite the reduced size of the hull’s eye.
