SPAHLINGER TREATMENT
NEW ZEALAND INVESTIGATIONS. Received July 1, 9 p.m. LONDON, June 30. Sir James Allen, High Commissioner for New Zealand, interviewed Dr. Spahlinger (discoverer of a treatment for tuberculosis) at Geneva. The latter accepted a suggestion to produce both serum and vaccine, and promised to make the same proposal regarding New Zealand. He undertook that supplies would be available in September . Dr. Blackmore, of Cashmere Sanatorium, Christchurch, was with Sir James Allen. He arranged an interview for July 8. Dr. Blackmore will make a full investigation of the Spahlinger claims.
