(Per Press Association?. WELLINGTON, July 2. Present indications are for variable winds, but moderate to strong easterlies prevailing, and backing to northerlies northward of Hokitika and Lyttelton, northerlies elsewhere. Dull and misty weather with rain is probable in northernmost districts, increasing haze for a change following elsewhere. The barom eter has a falling tendency.
