KAI IWI NOTES
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Ono of the most successful dances n| the season was held at the Kai Iw| Town Hall on Tuesday evening last More than seventy couples, indudinj many visitors from town, assembled ti enjoy themselves on the occasion of th| second annual ball of the Paparang Collie Club. Excellent music was pre vidcd by Kirk’s Orchestra. Exirqj were played bv Misses L. Takarangi, (| Webb, and Mr C. Syman. Messrs 1 Thomson and V. Brownlie ably cardq out the duties of M ’s.C. An excclJe4 supper was provided in a marquee II the ladies, who are to be congratulate on the way the arrangements were c<4 ried out. Before the last dance, r| freshments were again provided, an were greatly appreciated by the visit<»| before leaving for home, and a dan< which will ]<yng be remembered, wf brought to a close. f
