DELEGATE TO FOOTBALL CONFERENCE (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, June 30. At a meeting of the committee of the Otago Rugby Union to-night, it was unanimously decided to nominate Mr H. H. Harris as delegate to represent New Zealand at the Football Conference in London. Members expressed the opinion that Mr Harris would make an ideal delegate. He has a very intimate knowledge of football in New Zealand for many years past. ENGLISH RUGBY LEAGUE TEAM WELCOME TO ALL BLACKS. Received June 30, 9 p.m. SYDNEY, June 30. The English Rugby League team, prior to their departure for the North Coast, issued a message of welcome to the All Blacks, regretting their inability to meet them, and wishing them a successful tour.
