NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Patea-Wai-totara Rabbit Board, at its meeting to be held on Wednesday, July 16, 1924, at 11 a.m., in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Sections 59 and 61 of the “Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1908,” to make and levy a rate of one farthing per head on all sheep, and one penny per head on all cattle as shown in the Stockowners’ List furnished to the Board by stockowners in the territory under the Board’s control, such rate to be for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1924, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1925, and to be payable in one sum on Thursday, the 17th day of July, 1924, at the offices of the Board, 68 Ridgway Street, Wanganui. The minimum total amount of rates payable by any one stockowner to be not less than 10s, irrespective of the number of sheep and (or) cattle owned.
