INQUEST. (Per Press Association!. PALMERSTON N., June 28. At the inquest concerning the death of Ernest Stuart Meßean, aged 34,. school teacher at Palmerston North, who disappeared on April 27. and whose body was discovered on Thursday last in the Manawatu River, near Foxton. a verdict of found drowned was returned. Evidence was give that Meßean had suffered shell shock owing to war service, but there was no evidence to show the motive for entering the river.
