The fact that the vessel was six days overdue occasioned some anxiety for her safety. Heavy gales in the Tasman Sea of late had been reported. PORT AUGUSTA FROM NEW YORK. The Port Augusta arrived at Auckland at 10 a.m. on Friday from New’ York, via Panama. The vessel is laden W’ith American cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Castlecliff, and New Plymouth. TEKOA FOR AUCKLAND. The Tekoa is to leave London on July 8, cargo-laden for Auckland. She shou’d arrive at the northern port about August 13. RUAPEHU’S LOADING PORTS. The Ruapehu arrived at Dunedin on Friday from Lyttelton to continue discharge of Liverpool cargo under the auspices of the Federal Line. She will afterwards go to New Plymouth to complete discharge, anl will then return to Port Chalmers to load. The vessel’s other loading ports are Timaru, Wanganui and Wellington. The Ruapehu is to sail from Wellington on July 30 for Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and Avonmouth. FORMER AUSTRALIAN TRADERS. Sales of Australian traders have been numerous of late, and as a consequence a change of some familiar names has been recorded. The ex-Australian Commonwealth steamer Australmead, recently sold to Greece, is now known as the Marima. The Australpeak, also an ex-Australian Commonwealth steamer, which arrived at Auckland early this week from Java, is now known as the Carspey. Formerly under the Trinder interests, the steamer Errol has been re-named Spenser.
