MILK DIET PROPOSED JAPAN’S EXPERIMENT. Received June 28, 5.30 p.m. SAN FRANCISCO, June 27. Japan has entered into an experiment to make her people of larger stature through the consumption of milk, and is negotiating for large purchases of milch cows in the United States. The California Dairy Council announces that Dr. Miyawaki, Professor of Dairying in the Hokkaido University, is en route to Japan with a big shipment of purebred dairy stock purchased in the United States.
