NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY A GENERAL RATE FOR YEAR 1924-25. PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that the Waitotara County Council intend. at their next meeting to be held on Monday, July 14, 1924, at 11.30 a.m., acting under Sections 120 and 121 of the Counties Act, 1920. and Section 50 of the Rating Act, 1908, as amended by Section 5 of the Rating Amendment Act, 1913, to make and levy a General Rate on the Rateable (capital) value of all rateable property within the Waitotara County as follows, viz.: In the Brunswick, Waitotara, Westmere Ridings. one penny farthing (IJd), and in the Tokomaru Riding one penny halfpenny (lid) in the pound, for the period commencing on April 1, 1924. and ending on March 31, 1925, payable in one instalment on the 15th day of Julv. 1924. at the Council’s Office, 112 Ridgway Street. Wanganui; and notice is hereby given that the Valuation Roll and Rate Book are open for inspection at the Council’s Office during Office hours.
