NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STRIKE A GENERAL B-xTE. NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Wanganui County Council, at its meeting to bo held on Friday, July 11, 1924, at 11 am., in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Sections 120 -4 nd 121 of the Counties Act, 1920, and Sections 48 to 55 of “The Bating Act, 1908,” to make and levy a General Bate on the Bateable (Capital) value of all rateable property within the Wanganui County as fellows:—ln the Mangamahu. Purua, Kaitoke, and Kaukatea Bidings, a rate of One penny farthing (IJd) in the £, in the Mangawhero and Upper Wangaehu Bidings, a rate of One penny halfpenny (lid) in the pound, and in the Morikau Biding, a ra.e of One penny (Id) in the pound, for the period commencing on the First day of April, 1924, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1925, such rata to be pavable in one sum on Saturday, tne 12th day of July, 1924, at the Council Office, County Buildings, 7, Campb-iU Place, Wanganui.
