SECURED BY BRITAIN. LONDON, June 1. Mr. Matthews returned to London on Sunday. The consultation with his solicitors resulted in the formation of a British company, with a capital of £360,000, in which M. Royer, the scientist of the Lyons company, has secured 16 per cent. Mr. Matthews becomes director at a big salary, enabling him to develop the ray and carry on other researches.
