Mr. Frank P. Ray, Town Clerk at Ngaruawahia, has been appointed Town Clerk at Patea, vice Mr. Harding, who has taken up a similar position at Feilding. Mr. Frank Reynolds, at present accountant to the Wanganui Education Board, has been appointed clerk to the Inglewood County Council in suc- : cession to Mr. 8. Nielson, who has resigned. There were twenty-six applicants.
