IONIC ARRIVES

LARGE NUMBER OF IMMIGRANTS. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 18. The lonic, which arrived from London to-night, brought 346 assisted immigrants, being 107 men and 108 women, including 43 domestics and children. Of the total 101 arc for Auckland, 104 for Wellington, 30 for Lyttelton, 32 for Dunedin, 22 for the Bluff, five for New Plymouth, three foi Wanganui, eight for Timaru.
