LORD JELLICOE DECLINES TO EXTEND TERM. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, March 15. Lord Jellieoe’s term as GovernorGeneral of the Dominion will expire in September next. In this connection Mr Massey to-day stated that on behalf of the Government he had asked His Excellency to remain in New Zealand for another year, but Lord Jellico© had replied that much as he would like to stay from certain points of view, he felt it would be unfair to members of his family to do so. ______
