LONDON MARKETS
Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 4th inst:—
London Wool Sales; March series. —“The list of arrivals is closed. The following are the quantities available: Australian, 40,500; New Zealand, 31,000; Cape, 2500; held over 8000. South American, 12,000. “The following vessels have arrived in time for the sales: lonic, Zealandic, Pakeha, Dorset, Mahia, Turakina. “Dairy Produce.—After temporary improvement markets are very dull. We quote New Zealand finest salted, 184 s; New Zealand exceptional brands, 188 s; New Zealand cheese, 905.”
