Messrs Dalgety and Company Limited report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 16th instant:— London Tallow Sales.—6Bo casks tallow offered and practically all sold. Since our last report prices are as follows: — Medium and inferior descriptions, 2/per cwt. higher. Other descriptions, 6d per cwt. higher. Beef Tallow is quoted at 47/- per cwt. Butter:—Since our last report prices are 4/- per cwt. lower. Prices for butter are now as follows: N.Z. salted, 208/-; Danish, 220/-; finest Australian salted, 202/-; unsalted, 204/-.
