SENIOR NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, Jan. 18. Following is the list, arranged in alphabetical order, of Wanganui candidates who, in the Senior National Scholarship examination, of November 1923, reached the standard of qualification fixed for the scholarship. To those candidates who are otherwise eligible, the scholarships will be awarded by the several education boards concerned.— Ashwell, Dorothy Ellen Nightingale (Wanganui Girls’ College), 1371 marks Boyd, Wynn Paul (Wanganui Technical College), 1583. JUNIOR NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS. Following are the Junior National Scholarships results for Wanganui. The first three names, in list one of the official results, are of candidates who reached the general standard of qualification (59 per cent.) for a scholarship in the Junior National Scholarship examination. Those in list three are of candidates who have qualified for junior free places in secondary schools.— John Hill Goodey, 493; Olivia Campbell Mackenzie, 506; William Charles Hugo Wall, 493.
