PURSER’S LTD.
THE HOME FURNISHERS OF WANGANUI. When there is anything of note on display the thoughts of Wanganui people turn to Purser’s, who have always made their splendid window available for community purposes. At this time of the year, however, their windows are used to display a few of the many articles that so appeal to lovers of good gifts. A useful present is always the more acceptable, and this year Purser’s have, with characteristic thoroughness, assembled a wonderful collection embracing Crockery, Carpets and Rugs; also many other suitable articles such as Bureaux, Music Stools, Occasional Tables, and Leather Goods. The prices in all departments are wonderfully low, and every facility is offered for quick and economic purchasing. Purser’s manufacture a special feature for the children dolls’ beds—and these inexpensive but pleasing toys can now be had in several designs. During an inspection of Purser’s factory last week, a “Chronicle” reporter had the pleasure of seeing a number of articles manufactured, and was impressed with the thoroughness of the work and the efficiency of the staff. The factory is up-to-date in every respect, and nil necessary equipment has been provided for the manufacture of the highest standard of art furniture. A visit to Purser’s factory and showrooms will prove of great interest, and lovers of good gifts will not hesitate in their selection after looking through the factory and seeing the goods made.
