A TREMENDOUS ASSET
THE PRIME MINISTER’S OPTIMISM. (By Telegraph). (From Our Parliamentary Reporter). WELLINGTON, July 12. According to Sir John Luke, there is no more optimistic man in this country than the Prime Minister. 1 ‘That is a tremendous asset to the country,” he remarked to-night. “If we had a Prime Minister with but little courage in the affairs of State then the depression through which we passed recently would not have been overcome. But we have only got round the corner, wo have scarcely got into the middle of the road, up against where the Leader of the Opposition is.” (Laughter).
