AMERICAN INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP NEW YORK, July 10. The indoor Long Island American open golf championship started with a record entry of 360, of whom 90 played 36 holes to-day. Sarazen, Francis, and Gallett are bracketed in the lead for the first .1 8 holes with a score of 73. Hutchison is second with 74. Kirkwood plays on Tuesday, NEW YORK, July 9. Sarazen holds the lead for the first thirty-six holes among ninety players who participated in the first day’s qualifying round. His score was 148.
