P. AND T. The redoubtable P. and T. team suffered their first defeat last evening. , when they met the Battalion team. The J Battalion had a substantial lead till ’ * their ninth man accidentally discharged his rifle. This gave P. and T. a splendid chance, and excitement was ; keen while the last men were shooting. ‘ The match was in doubt till the last ‘ shot. The Battalion came out with two r points to the good.
