The archbishop presided 1 , 3 and every diocese was represented. ’ It was announced that Mr Hickson ’ bad generously agreed to extend his * mission for two and a-lialf months—from the beginning of October till the 3 middle of December. Ho will arrive in c Auckland some time previously, intend- ' ing to rest a little while after his Aus- & traJian mission, which concludes in i West Australia, in August. Ho will bo in Queensland during June, und " South Australia the early part of July, t proceeding thence to Perth. His openr ing dates for New Zealand are —Auck- , land, October 1 to 5, inclusive. t In drawing up the itinerary the con--3 fcrence had in mind principally the obt ject of Mr Hickson’s mission, which is ) less to heal the sick than to revive in s the church Ibe ministry of healing - through the church as an organisation, s ]t, however, endeavoured to arrange 3 for Mr Hickson to visit as many cen--1 tres as possible to meet the needs of _ the sick who may desire to receive his ministration.
