PIPE BAND CARNIVAL. MACLEAN TARTAN ON TOP. The Tartan Campaign came to a conclusion on Saturday night when a final statement was handed in, the total sum raised amounting to £562 12s. The positions and amounts raised by the supporters of each tartan are as follows.—

MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB. The following is the result of the third shoot for A. Dalziell’s medal, held on Monday night:

Smith, who has been a resident of Hunterville for nearly 30 years, was farewelled at the Club, when the usual toasts were honoured, and Dr. Smith presented with a handsome travelling rug. Dr. and Mrs. Smith and family leave for Westport shortly. Barraclough’s Magic Nervine Stops Toothache. 1/6 everywhere.
