BRITAIN’S NEW CABINET
FRENCH PRESS CRITICISM. PARIS, May 27. Le Journal, commenting on the new Ministry, says that Mr. Baldwin has included Lord Robert Cecil, the apostle of the most merciful international combinations, and Mr. McKenna, the champion of business influences always invoked against France. The claims of these appointments are welcomed in Berlin, both being regarded as favourable to Germany and to another method of settlement than that at present suggested.
