SWIMMERS AND MILITARY DEFAULTERS

N.Z. COUNCIL'S INCLINATION. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURH, May 26. The New Zealand Swimming Council does not feel Inclined to deal with the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association request that military defaulters be debarred from sport. The Wellington centre had received the R.S.A.’s letter and passed it on to the Council. Mem bers of the latter body briefly discussed the matter, and they felt that it would be difficult to detect and deal with military defaulters. Therefore it was decided to inform the Wellington centre that this was’ a matter with which the Council did not find itself inclined to deal with.
