AMERICAN PARTICIPATION. EXPOSITION CAMPAIGN OPENED. Received May 19, 5.5 p.m NEW YORK, May 19. Senator Borah opened a campaign against American participation in the World Court. He declared that the Court is bound to the League of Nations, because it is the League’s adviser. Thus it is inconsistent for the United States’ Administration tc support the Court while condemning its parent. Senator Borah said that every war, every invasion of territory, since the League was formed, had been by a member of the league Greece was a member of the League when she invaded Asia Minor. Poland was a member when she fought Eastern Galicia. Lithuania was a member when she took Memel. France was a member when she invaded the Ruhr.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
