GERMANY’S FUTURE

A MATTER OF CALCULATION GERMAN PROFESSOR’S PREDICTION. Received Mav 20, 5.5 p.m. BERLIN, May 19. Kenimerich, a philot-oplrer of high repute, in a book entitled “A Calculation of History and Germany’s Future,” contends that Germany is now only on the eve of its revolutionary period, which will develop about 1940, when the foundations of the nation’s renaissance will be laid. Ho anticipates that by 1925 a new Tsar belonging to the house of Romanoff will again rule Russia. This will give impetus to the restoration of the Hohenzollerns in Germany, but after some early successes Kemr.ierich prophesises the new monarch will suffer severe defeat, and fly, but .will be seized before he ieach.es the border, end will be brought back and executed, 'then will come a countcr-i;evolut;on led by a new Cromwell or Napoleon, who will lead Germany to the highest degree of power. Under his dictatorship peace and order will be re-estab-lished, but only after a decade of the terror of civil war. After five years of military dictatorship, Germany’s Crc’nwell will create a constitutional monarchy. Professor Kemmerich rules cut the prospect of any foreign intervention interfering with the above programme, because tho ‘‘great Powers will be too busy participating in one, and possibly two, world wars.” —Aus.-N.Z. Gable Association.
