Silent Dick (next rails) fifth, and Powder King at the rear. 2 Tinokaha (W Ayres), the winner, leading over the hurdlet up the straight in the Century Hurdles. Following Tinokaha are Black Art, Mangawai, Sling Camp, Gmahu (on outside), and Vagabond. 3 Over the stand double the second time round in the Wanganui Steeplechase. Powder King (R. Hunt) leading Silent Dick (P. Mcßrearty). The winner, Tigerland, can be seen approaching the brush fence.
