BAGHDAD RAILWAY
BOUGHT BY BIG BANKERS. ROTHSCHILDS AT THE HEAD Received Mav 17, 10.30 p.m. CONSTANTINOPLE, May 16. It is reported that the Baghdad railway has been bought by a group of English and Swiss bankers, headed by Rothschilds. M Huguenin, the managing director of the railway, stated definitely that a Rothschild group had bought th© railwav. but he refused to give details. Asked what becomes of German and French interests, M. Huguenin said that would depend upon the Allies.
