ARBITRATION COURT

CHRISTCHURCH SITTING. [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, May 15. The Arbitration Court opened its Christchurch sitting with the lightest hst on record for three years. Referring to an application by the Moulders’ Uniou for full Wages fo.’ apprentices during sickness, Mr Frazer said the Court was sympathetic with the apprentices, and probably the report of a special committee would he introduced to Parliament. However, it was a fact that in the past apprentices’ clauses in the award had been bargained with by both sides to sesure other advantages.
