CANADIAN BUDGET
SUGAR REFINERS SCARED. Received Mav 16, 10.30 p.m. OTTAWA, May 16. Sugar refiners are up in arms against the Government Budget, which provides that sugar shall be duty free when it reaches eight cents per pound. Refiners claim that they will be driven out of Canada.—A. and N.Z. Cable Association.
