FRIDAY NEXT. In another column the Wanganui R.S.A. announces the date of this year's “ Poppy Day” street tale. Last year the public of Wanganui responded willing ly to the Association’s appeal, and it is sincerely hoped that Friday’s sale will achieve equal results There are still a large number of men on the Association’s unemployment registers, and if the ready support of tile public is accorded the "Poppy Day” campaign, the Association will bo able to materially assist their members v<> get work.
