ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
MOTOR-CAR FATALITY. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, April 13. Herbert Reginald Johnson, aged 13, residing with his parents at Karori, was killed last night through being knocked down by a motor-car driven, it is said, by a man named Baillie, also of Karori. The boy was crossing the road, and evidently failed to see the car approaching. He was unable to get out of the way. SUICIDE. (Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, April 13. William Condon, married, and aged about 30, was found hanging from a tree to-day. He had been despondent and left a note expressing his intention of committing suicide. FOUND DROWNED. CHRISTCHURCH, April 13. The body of a watersider, named Timothy Keohane, aged 45, who has lived in Lyttelton for four years, was found floating in the harbour at 8.30 this morning. There were no marks of violence on the body, and it is considered strange that it was seen floating, as Keohane was seen by several persons last night in a normal state.
