KILLED BY A MOTOR. [Per Press Association ] PALMERSTON N„ Dec. 22. James Groves was run over by a motor at Ashhurst this morning and expired from head injuries in Palmerston Hospital at 3 p.m. It is believed deceased was married and aged 47, and formerly resided in Pahiatua, but, from his travelstained appearance, he had apparently been on the road for some days.
