RUGBY AT OXFORD.
LONDON, October 22. A brilliant sprint resulting in a last-minute try by Aitken, a New Zealander, secured for Oxford a win in their first match of the season against Old Merchant Tailors’ Club. Aitken had also scored a try earlier in the game. The Oxford University Ruby fifteen is likely to include several overseas representatives. One-third of those playing in the final trial match from the Dominions, including C. C. Watson, of New Zealand, whose running and swerving much impressed critics.
