MR. A. BLAIR’S SALE. 47 GONVILLE AVENUE, GONVILLE. John Coull gives particulars in ouiauction columns to-day of a sale to be held on account of Mr A. Blair, at his residence, 47 Gonville Avenue. Included in the catalogue is a firstclass piano by Bohm, 10 x 12 Axminster carpet square, beautiful mahogany sideboard, pretty rosewood music cabinet, Singer cabinet sewing machine, twin wooden beds complete, duchess chests, kauri double mirrored wardrobe, large collection of household crockery, first-class gent’s bike, first-class lawn mower, also furniture and sundries of every description. All Mr Blair’s goods are of first-class order and as he has sold his residence an absolute clearance is required. The sale will commence at 1.30 p.m. sharp. WANGANUI ORPHANAGE. The annual meeting of subscribers to the Wanganui Orplianage will be held this -afternoon at the institution. AUCTION SALES. To-day at 10.30, at Merrewether Motor Coy.’s Garage, Messrs Cooper and Cooper will offer for sale a sevenseater Partin Palmer motor car, well equipped, and in good running order. To-day at 10 p.m.. at 262 Victoria Avenue (opposite the Avenue School) Mr Ben Bennett will sell on behalf of Mrs G. Miller, the contents of her beautiful home. The furniture and effects to be offered are modern and in splendid order.
