FIGURES IX)R THE YEAR. Received August 11, 7.55 p.m. SYDNEY, August 11. The report to be presented at the annual meeting of the Australian Jockey Club shows stakes distributed in the past year totalled £132,518 compared with £121,933 the previous year. The amount passed through the totalisator was £1,280,000, from which the State revenue I benefited to the extent of £113,547 | and the Federal entertainments tax realised £13,647.
