THE NAURU AGREEMENT.
Received August 10, 9.5 p.m. LONDON, August 10. The Hon. Sir Joseph Cook prefers to say nothing regarding the Nauru agreement at present beyond calling attention to the fact that the Hon. Ormsby-Gore opposed the Mandatory Bill in the House of Commons on June 16th, 1920, yet now he represents the British Empire on the Mandatory Commission.
