HELICOPTER AEROPLANE.
NEW ZEALANDERS' INVENTION. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON. July 14. A model helicopter aeropjane, invented by two New Zealanders,’ B. Mansfield (Palmerston North) and J. Marr (Wanganui) was exhibited to the .Minister of Defence, heads of the naval and military forces, and members of Parliament. It is claimed by the inventors that the machine could rise vertically and hover over any given spot. For normal flying; purposes the wings lock. The model is being brought under the notice of the Home authorities.
