BATTLE OF THE BOYNE.
ULSTER CELEBRATION. LONDON. July 13. At the Battle of the Boyne celebrations at Belfast, 50,000 Orangemen, with bands and banners went in procession through the city, and 100,900 demonstrated later at Ballylesson. Police, troops,’ and great numbers of armoured cars were stationed at danger points. Sir James Craig, addressing the gathering, said the loyalists throughout the whole world were at present facing a crisis and were involved in it. It was because Ulster’s patriotism was immovable that the enemies of Britain could not shift the rock on which the Empire was founded. Ulster’s cause was the cause of all loyalists in the Dominions and all parts of the world. Attempts had been made by assassinations and burnings to overthrow them, but all had failed, and would always fail.
