THE NORDEN CUP. WANGANUI v. TARANAKI DRAW, (Per Press Association). HAWERA, July 12. For Cue Norden Cup hockey match, the ground was heavy as the result of the recent rain. Wanganui (challengers) made the pace at the beginning of the game and scored two, goals. Taranaki got going and soon equalised. The second half wae fast, but both sides lacked finish. Combination generally was poor, big bitting being favoured. Each side was unlucky in not increasing their score, several good chances being missed. The match ended in a '’draw.
