STEAMERS COLLIDE.

(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 14. A collision occurred at 6.15 p.m. on Saturday in the harbour between the Gisborne Sheep Farmers’ Tiroa and the ferry steamer Peregrine. The Tiroa was outward bound to Gisborne. She put back to the wharf with her stem broken, but was not making water. The Peregrine’s starboard belting was damaged. She continued running.
