PORTUGUESE AIRMEN FALL INTO SEA. RIO DE JANEIRO, May 12. The Portuguese cruiser Republic wirelessed that two Portuguese airmen while attempting a trans-Atlan-tic flight had been packed up by the British steamer City of Paris. They fell into the sea shortly after leaving Fernao do Noronha on Thursday morning.
