JUST READY TO LEAVE. INCIDENT AT A WAREHOUSE. Three {ieople got a big surprise yeserdav afternoon. Iwo were members »f the staff of Sargood. Son and Ewen’s warehouse in Taupo Quay. The third is a. young man named Burnard Holloway, aged 23. who is now in custody on a charge of breaking and entering. Yesterday was a holiday in town and quite by chance the two members of the warehouse staff happened to go to the warehouse about 2.30 p.m.. where they found a stranger clad in glad raiment and in possession. Under the circumstances they detained him until Constable R. \\ ilson arrived, and gathered the firm s new client in.

\\ hen fuller investigations were made ■t was found that Holloway had effected an entry to the warehouse and had >roceeded to deck himself out with a ora nd new outfit, the best that was gojig in footwear, undies, shirts, collars, and ties. and as a finale had capped them wit i a stylish suit. Incidentally ae had also appropriated two new portmanteaux, and in each had neatly packed a selected stock of clothipg. Apparently at this stage Holloway vas ready to leave, hut as events transpired his new outfit only carried him as ar as the police station. ,
