(By Telegraph.) Special to "Chronicle.”) WELLINGTON, March 28. Mr. Dixon, M.P., and Mr. W. Morrison (chairman of the .Maitotara County Council) interviewed, the Minister of Public Works in reference to the Okehu stream bridge. They pointed out to the Minister the importance of the work being authorised, also that the County had accepted a tender conditionally on a grant being available. A satisfactory reply was received from the Minsiter. The expenditure of £sffu on the Estimates was sanctioned.
