BOY SCOUTS.

SWANKERS’ APPEAL. The public will have a splendid opportunity of contributing towards the funds now being raised by the Swankers Club !r aid of the Boy Scouts, by buying tickets for the Picture Entertainment to be held in His Majesty’s Theatre on Wednes-’ day the stli April at 8 p.m. The management have arranged for a splendid programme of pictures and in addition local artists will assist in concert items, so that a good evening’s entertainment is assured. The prices of admission have not been increased notwithstanding the heavy charges connected with the programme and the price 1/7 upstairs and 1/1 downstairs should result in a record attendance. The Boy Scouts have now received a supply of tickets for sale and the public are requested to buy as liberally as possible. As previously notified half the net proceeds are to be handed to the Boy Scouts’ Swankers’ Fund, and the Swankers request all members to roll up in good numbers to assist the worthy cause. Additional subscriptions received by the Swankers’ Club are:
