CYCLONIC STORM AT WARKWORTH.

HOUSES DEMOLISHED. SERIOUS DAMAGE TO ORCHARDS, FENCES. ETC. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 27. The Postmaster at Warkworth telegraphs to the Chief Postnjaster at Wellington as follows:—A cyclonic storm struck this district at R o’clock last evening. Osborne’s house at Wayby (10 miles from Warkworth) was demolished. Martin’s house at Warkworth was demolished, and some of inmates severely injured. Wilson’s house at Springlands was struck by lightning. Considerable damage was done to orchards, fences, etc. Numerous telephone and telegraph wires are down.
